Microsoft Outlook has stopped working => Check online for solution... faulting module name msvcr100.dll

Outlook 2010 has stopped working on several PCs and the "disease" is slowly spreading throughout our small company, which is heavily dependent on Outlook. Ten to fifteen seconds after we open OL it displays "MS Outlook has stopped working. Check online... Close program..." I have been researching this for weeks with no solution in sight. Outlook safe no work. Windows 7 boot safe no work. Scanpst no work. (We use Zimbra Connector for Outlook with Zimbra Collaboration Server and, yes, the question has been put to them.) Ran pro versions of AVG and MBAM to no avail.

I will be trying a clean boot procedure and a couple of long-shot remedies, but that's all I have for now. Hoped to get some feedback until I get a chance to use those last ditch "cures."

In all candor, I don't trust MS details pointing to this particular msvcr100.dll as the primary cause, but it's a starting point. And the file is also found in many paths: JRE, Desktop Central, ...msmapi\1033, WinISO, Mozilla Firefox, ad nauseam.

If you need any further information, please advise. Thank you in advance...

Hi,

According to your description, I understand that the issue happens to several PCs with Outlook 2010.

I noticed that you have done several troubleshooting about the Outlook crash issue. I suggest we can install Outlook 2013 in a new computer and check whether the issue happens in Outlook 2013.

If the issue doesnt happen in Outlook 2013, please update your Outlook 2010 to the latest patches and service packs and check whether the issue persists.

I found the same error with users after running a recent Windows Update. (Not sure which update caused the issue) After using the command Outlook /safe to enable safe mode. I disable the add-ins one by one and found that the issue was related to "Microsoft Outlook Social Connector" Add-in.
